The Islamic Center of Louisville (ICL) serves Muslims and neighbors across the region from our location on 4th Street. Services for daily life

Visit our masjid
Neighbors and friends are welcome to visit, ask questions, and learn about Islam. Guided visits can be arranged by contacting us.
Civic & community
Many masjids help with voter education, interfaith dialogue, and service projects. Ask how you can volunteer through ICL.

From counseling referrals to meals in hardship, community care is part of our mission — reach out when you need help or can offer it.
Funeral & janāzah
Assistance with Islamic burial practices and prayer. Contact the masjid for guidance at times of loss.
Learning & youth
Programs
Qur’an study, halaqahs, and family activities are often announced on Facebook. Replace these placeholders with your recurring classes and times.
Qur’an & tajwīd
Study circles for children and adults — schedule varies by semester. Ask at the masjid for the current class list.

- Women’s area Ask a volunteer inside if you are unsure where to pray — we’re glad to help.
- Shoes & dress Shoes are removed in prayer areas. Modest, loose clothing is appreciated for all visitors.

Support ICL
Donations
Zakat, sadaqah, and general sadaqah jariyah help keep the lights on, fund programs, and maintain our building. Ask the board how to designate your gift (e.g. zakat vs. operations).
